Oh my, Lynne Spears’ book looks like a barrel of laughs, doesn’t it? Britney’s “mom’s” publishers have now released the cover of Through The Storm: A Real Story Of Fame And Family In A Tabloid World – but the super-serious styling makes it looks more like the autobiography of a minor royal than the mother of a pop princess. We also love the fact that the small-print says “Mother of Jamie Lynn, Bryan and Britney Spears” – do you think Bryan was like “Moooom! I know I didn’t get pregnant at 16, have a 55-hour marriage or shave my head and attack a car with an umbrella, but pleeeeease can I get a mention in your book, too? Pleeeeeease? I’ll do my own laundry for a whole week!”? Lynne’s publishers are now at pains to point out that Through The Storm is not a parenting guide, as previously rumoured – instead, it’s “the story of what it was like being a mom and raising two very famous people.” Although Lynne’s book is ripe for piss-taking, we reckon it will be fascinating reading too – will you be reading it?
