You would have thought that most celebrities have become accustomed to the paparazzi. OK, so there are a few (hello Chris Martin and Bjork) who really seem to take offence to a camera in their face, but mostly the A-list just deal with it. However, this was not the case for US rap star Kanye West. The star was charged with vandalism yesterday, following this attack on a photographer at LAX Airport. It's not clear from the video how close the snapper actually was to Kanye, or what exactly was said, but the rapper certainly took great offence to something. Just look at the way he throws that camera to the floor! Ouch. The fracas occurred as Kanye and his road manager Don Crowley were waiting to board a flight to Honolulu. After the scuffle, the star and his manager were told they would not be allowed to board the plane and were then quizzed by the police. Eventually both men were released on a £10,000 bail, but not before being charged with vandalism. The camera that was destroyed during the incident was allegedly worth £5,709 – crikey! That's one expensive temper tantrum. An onlooker at the scene said that as soon as Kanye noticed the photographer, he "rushed the guy and grabbed his camera, breaking it into pieces." Tut tut, temper, temper... A court date has now been set for 2 October, but Kanye himself has declined to comment.
