Owners of the luxury resort, which is situated on the extraordinary Palm Jumeirah manmade island in Dubai (you know, the one that's shaped like a palm tree), are throwing the most expensive private party EVER – at a cost of more than £16million *actually coughs up coffee* Lucky old Kylie is being paid £2million to perform a 60-minute set for the 2,000 or so A-list guests, making it one of the best paid in entertainment history. A £3million fireworks display, done by the same people behind the extravagant Beijing Olympics display, will also take place.
