Beyonce and Jay-Z have one of the most private relationships in all of showbizzyness, but she’s now given a revealing interview and has talked about their secret wedding for the first time – six months on from the not-so-big day. "What Jay and I have is real,” she says in an interview with US magazine Essence. “It's not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It's real.” Beyonce says their wedding was small and intimate because she’s not a “traditional woman” and didn’t feel the need for loads of attention. “It’s been my day so many days already,” she says. “People put too much emphasis on that. It’s just material and it’s just silly to me.” Instead of an engagement ring, Beyonce and her rapper husband have matching tattoos on their fingers. “We’ve been together a long time,” she adds. “We always knew it would happen.” Now, we normally find Beyonce a little bit boring (she never says anything interesting in interviews) but we’re quite touched by all this honesty and modesty – it’s rather sweet, isn’t it?
