Now, sometimes we have a certain amount of sympathy for artists who consider "retiring" their hits. Remember when Bryan Adams threatened to never again perform his monster Number One hit (Everything I Do) I Do It For You? Well, we had total sympathy for him. But in this case, we think Justin Timberlake might be jumping the gun somewhat. This weekend, the Trousersnake told a dismayed audience in Vegas that "this performance of SexyBack will be my last" before announcing that he was "retiring" the song for good. What? Retiring it? And just as sexy really was coming back? Noooo! We don't know about you, but we think SexyBack is one of Justin's hottest tunes to date, and the idea of him never strutting his sexy self to it again is rather upsetting. OK, so he's getting a bit sick of singing it, but surely banning it forever is going a little bit far? Justin was performing at a benefit concert alongside 50 Cent, Jonas Brothers, Rihanna and Leona Lewis, who he labelled "amazing". Talking to the crowd he said, "I'm going to go pimp myself to Leona Lewis, 'cause I think she's an amazing singer." Blimey! Justin says he has no plans to record any solo stuff for a while, and instead will be collaborating with other artists. So, wipe away your tears Timberlake fans and have one last watch of SexyBack. The video below is from a gig Justin did in Paris last year, and we think you'll agree, he's definitely brought sexy back...
