When most celebrities name their children slightly odd things – hello Apple Martin, Fifi Trixibelle Geldof, Princess Tiaamii Andre and Poppy Honey Oliver – we're usually left baffled as to the reasons behind it. But Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson, whose recently born baby son is named Bronx Mowgli Wentz, have decided to come clean about their reasons behind such an unusual name. "The Jungle Book was something that me and Ashlee bonded over," explains Pete. "It's a cool name." OK, so that explains the choice of Mowgli. Sort of. Pete refused to confirm if the name Bronx had anything to do with where the baby was conceived, saying instead, "We came up with the idea Bronx. It's kind of cool to just leave the narrative what it is." Um, OK then. The Fall Out Boy bassist denied that the initials BMW were an intentional joke, saying, "No, no, no, it definitely is his name, but I don't think anybody knows what the real story is of why or how." Nobody knows? Now we're really confused. Pete also talked very sweetly about his young wife, admitting that she'd actually handled the labour better than he did!
