Cheryl Cole soon won’t be the only Girls Aloud lady who’s constantly popping up on TV – Sarah Harding has landed a role in a new drama about the credit crunch. Sarah will play a high maintenance beautician who’s dating a city financier in the BBC production Freefall. And it could be a tricky job – the filmmaker has told the actors they have to improvise. “Dominic Savage’s films are all about improvisation, which is pretty challenging, but that’s also a big reason why I want to do the project,” says Sarah, with her serious hat on by the sound of things. “It’s so different to what I’m used to. It’s a bit nerve-wracking, too, not having all my girls with me. They’re really supportive though, and can’t wait to see the end result.” Apparently Alfie Allen has also been lined up to star. Sorry to lower the tone, but we do hope he gets his willy out again.
