We do love a celeb who isn't afraid to say what's they really think of people (well, maybe not Bobby Davro), and Lily Allen is a perfect example of a star who just keeps on doing this. The latest lady to come under fire from Ms Allen is fellow singer Katy Perry who, Lily claims, is the American version of herself. Ranting away in a radio interview, Lily says, "I happen to know for a fact that she was an American version of me. She was signed by my label in America as, 'We need to find something controversial and kooky like Lily Allen.' And then they found her!" As well as this complaint, Lily then went on to say, "I think the lyrics and stuff are a bit crass." Miaow... It turns out that Lily's dislike for Katy is all down to a comment the latter made a few months ago. Lily explains, "When I met her, I was bit frosty with her because someone asked her to describe herself. She's like, 'Aha, I'm like a fatter version of Amy Winehouse and a skinner version of Lily Allen!'" We can see why that might be a tad annoying, especially as Lily is in no way fat whatsoever. The Smile singer finished up her tirade by saying bluntly, "It's like, you're not English and you don't write your own songs, shut up!" So, Lily's had her say, and somehow we doubt Katy will let this one slide without having her say, too. Ding, ding...
It's Lily vs Katy!
