Britney Spears did it, the Jonas Brothers are famous for it, and now Katy Perry has decided that nookie is off her menu, too. Yep, the singer has announced that she's taking a vow of celibacy in 2009, and that she's keeping well clear of men for the foreseeable future. Yeah, right. Katy explained, "I've actually taken a vow of celibacy this year. No kissing anyone. Just my cat, Kitty Purry." Not even kissing?! What about kissing the girls? Maybe Katy's still in man-hating mode after her split from Gym Class Heroes' Travis McCoy last December. We've all been known to declare plans for celibacy down the pub after a nasty break up, but we all know it only lasts as long as it takes for the next tasty-looking man (or woman) to come along. All Katy's done by announcing this is set out a challenge to all the single men out there. We bet she's back in the saddle by Valentine's Day.
