Is it just us or have lots of famous types been getting a bit lairy recently? It’s just been announced that Amy Winehouse has been charged with common assault after allegedly punching at a fan at a charity do back in September. Amy’s been accused of hitting Sherene Flash, when, appropriately enough given her name, she asked for a photo. The incident took place at the End Of Summer ball in London’s Berkeley Square and, Sherene alleges that Amy punched her in the eye and ran off crying, “Life can’t go on, I can’t do this any more” when she asked her to pose for a snap. The singer spoke to police yesterday and will appear before City of Westminster magistrates on 17 March.
