Lily Allen single-handedly pioneered the dubious trend of pretty dresses with Converse trainers but in more recent years she’s been way more into ludicrously expensive, ludicrously high but ludicrously hot heels. But it turns out she hasn’t given her extensive trainer collection to Oxfam after all… on stage last night, she re-embraced her old look and, we’re not going to lie to you, we don’t like it. OK, so those shiny white sneakers are much more practical for performing than six inch heels might be, but last time we checked Lily didn’t have any advanced Britney-style choreography in her on stage routine and could probably manage something a little more feminine. Still, we wonder if comfort might have been a little more important than usual for Lily, given that she reportedly threw up outside the gig venue before the show. She’s pure class that girl, ain’t she?
