It wasn't very long ago that Kanye West was calling himself the "voice of this generation" and now he's gone one step further and referred to himself as "God's chosen one". Yes, really. The singer gushed in a new interview, "God chose me. He made a path for me. I am God’s vessel. But my greatest pain in life is that I will never be able to see myself perform live." Er, have you never heard of a little invention called a video camera? We're sure you could quite easily arrange for one of those to be at one of your gigs, Kanye. The rapper goes on to acknowledge he has a big ego (you don't say!), but makes no apology for it, saying, "I do have an ego and rightfully so. I think people should have an ego. I give myself big-ups. I feel good about the music I make." Do you think Kanye is going a bit far referring to himself as "God's chosen one" or does he thoroughly deserve his status?
