Good Charlotte's Joel Madden was left feeling a bit bemused this weekend, after a British Airways employee told him to cover up his tattoos. Nicole Richie's other half claims he was told to "put long sleeves on" to hide his many tattoos, before being permitted to board a flight from London to Lisbon. Writing about the incident on Twitter, Joel wrote, "I covered up to board the BA flight. I didn't want to miss it. Honestly, I was embarrassed, all the people were staring and laughing! It's not in the rules I can find. My tats aren't offensive, but the guy was literally disgusted by" BA have since responded to the claims by saying, "We don't understand why the employee took it upon himself to enforce regulations that don't exist." Maybe he has a huge crush on Nicole Richie, or is a huge hater of tattoos... If that's the case, someone should warn Amy Winehouse not to board a flight with this guy working onboard!
