Madge doesn't pay well
Working for one of the biggest and richest celebrities in the whole world must pay pretty well, right? Wrong! So wrong. It has emerged today that Madge's staff are only being paid about £8 an hour for their services. OK, so it's slightly more than minimum wage, but we aren't talking about serving pints down the local, are we? Despite this, however, David Banda's former nanny – who, it's now being claimed, was fired for not speaking French well enough – has spoken out to support her former employee, saying, "It's a shame. It would've been a great opportunity for the little girl. She would have been well looked after in a loving family." Friends of Madonna have also been vocal in their concerns about the singer, who they say was "pinning her hopes" on the adoption of Mercy as a means of getting over her failed marriage to Guy. Last night Madge released this photo of herself with the Malawian baby as she continues to battle the decision not to let her adopt. If her appeal fails, Madge will have run out of options.
