Michael Jackson's dad is today facing a barrage of criticism after he appeared on the red carpet last night and took the opportunity to plug his new business venture. Joe Jackson managed to plug Ranch Records while discussing his son's tragic passing, telling the interviewer, "I wish the world had recognized [Michael] when he was living. I wish he was here to see all this. I have concerns. I don’t like what happened." Asked by the interviewer if he'd found it hard to attend the event, Joe merely shook his head and explained that he's "tough", adding that "the family is fine". We know Michael had a difficult relationship with his father, but this such open display of relative normality by Mr Jackson senior does sit a little uneasily. What are your thoughts?
