Michael Jackson's British bodyguard has revealed in a new interview that the superstar had a secret girlfriend he'd been with for years. Matt Fiddes, a martial arts expert from Devon, first met Jacko through their mutual friend Uri Geller back in 1998, and quickly became one of the star's most trusted employees. Talking about Jacko's girlfriend, Matt says, "She wasn't a celebrity figure – absolutely not. I imagine she is distraught right now." He further expressed his anger at the various doctors – who he refers to as "leeches" – that gave Michael drugs. "The doctors would change every few months," he remembers. "It went two ways with what they did with Michael. Either he'd be totally sedated or they'd give him something which would make him incredibly high." Matt says a "lonely" Jacko would spend hours shut in his hotel rooms watching DVDs of The Simpsons, and that he was often too drugged up to wake properly. There seems to be very different accounts of the star emerging from different people. It's doubtful we'll ever know the whole truth about how Michael lived his life, but it definitely seems as if it was a troubled one.
