It was undoubtedly the most heart-wrenching moment of Michael Jackson's big memorial concert, but there was defintely something very uncomfortable about watching poor little Paris Jackson make her tearful tribute to her father. Delicate Paris, who is only 11 years old, said shakily into the mic, "Ever since I was born daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine, and I just wanted to say I love him so much." Afterwards she immediately buried her head in her auntie Janet Jackson's shoulder and cried. Perhaps what makes it all so shocking is that for the whole of her short life, Paris Jackson has been protected from the public. Michael insisted she and her brothers wear masks whenever they were out with him in order to protect their identities and allow them to live as "normal" a life as possible away from the spotlight. But standing in front of a live audience of 19,000 people and a TV audience of almost one billion is very far from anonymous. Is this really what her father would've wanted? If you didn't see the speech, have a watch now and then tell us what YOU think.
