Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale's London home has been the target of a robbery, after burglars smashed their way in on Saturday night. The front door to the couple's Primrose Hill mansion was smashed off the hinges, but the robbers failed to make it past just the ground-floor flat, which Gwen and Gavin rent out to a friend. The robbers made off with some jewellery from the botom flat after failing to gain access to the top part of the house, which police later described as a "very secure venue". One neighbour said afterwards, "We heard a loud crashing sound but thought it was our sons and their friends in the basement. I can't believe no one else noticed." Despite the front door being in pieces, it took a further 12 hours for the police to be called after a passer-by saw the debris and raised the alarm. Gwen, Gavin and their two children Kingston and baby Zuma were all away at the time of the attack. Scary stuff.
