Tributes have continued to flood in this morning for tragic DJ AM Adam Goldstein, who died this weekend from a suspected drug overdose. Adam, who was only 36 at the time of his death, famously survived a plane crash with Blink 182 pal Travis Barker in September last year, and was said to be very depressed over the incident, in which four close friends were killed. The DJ, who has worked with stars such as Madonna, Jay-Z and Will Smith, openly admitted that he'd been a drug addict in the past, but was recently thought to have kicked the habit. Friends of the young star are understandably devastated, with Paris Hilton saying, "It's so hard to accept that I'm not going to be able to see him or talk to him again. There are no right words for this, I feel so sad. R.I.P. AM, I love you and you are already missed so much. My heart and prayers go out to his family and close friends. God bless." The DJ's ex-girlfriend Mandy Moore said, "I am absolutely heartbroken. For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend. To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement." Lindsay Lohan also paid tribute, saying on Twitter, "I can't believe this... I'm in shock. Why? Why? r.i.p. Adam." Tributes also came in from John Mayer, Demi Moore and Solange Knowles. The DJ's close friend Travis Barker simply said, "My brother is gone. I love you and miss you. I’ll never forget all the good times we had. I’ll never forget everything we’ve been through and every time I play the drums I’ll think of you. You were an amazing friend/DJ/human being." Adam was discovered at his apartment in New York surrounded by drug paraphernalia, but the official cause of death will not be made public until toxicology reports come back next week.
