Police are searching for Cheryl Cole’s older brother Andrew Tweedy after he missed a court appearance. The 29 year-old was set to face charges of allegedly breaching the terms of the suspended prison sentence he was given for assault last May. However, a judge issued an arrest warrant for his arrest after he failed to turn up to Newcastle Crown Court. His barrister, Paul Caulfield, told the court: “I don't know why he isn't here, he has been informed of the proceedings.” It’s not the first time Andrew has tried to evade the law. In 2005 he jumped bail after mugging 19 year-old Kian Brady, and was later jailed after five weeks on the run.
