Rihanna gig – a gallery
Going out on a Monday night is usually something we try to avoid, but when there's something as exciting as Rihanna happening, the we're very happy to make an exception. Rihanna performed live at the launch of the Nokia X6 last night at the Brixton Academy, and loads of celebs turned up to see her in action. Waiting for the show to start in the VVIP bar, we spotted Brian Friedman (who is surprisingly hot) causing a stir, as well as gorgeous Rochelle from The Saturdays, who was proudly showing off her yummy new Gina bag. We want one! However, the biggest crowd murmur of the evening came when Jamie Afro arried with Coco from Kandy Rain attached to his side. Everyone wanted to shake his hand, and he was very sweet. We're also VERY glad to report that there was no sign of his trademark scarf. We're hoping he burnt it. Other celebs who turned up to watch Rihanna and Jay-Z (he joined her on stage and the crowd went mental) included Emma Bunton and Jade jones, Kimberley Stewart, Chipmunk, Daisy Lowe, Jamelia, Keisha Buchanan and Adele. Beyonce even drove over from her gig at the O2 to join the after-party. It was one amazing night, and we've got lots of pictures to prove it.
