Watch the official Helping Haiti Everybody Hurts video

Posted by heatworld 08 February 2010 12:10

The official video for the Helping Haiti Everybody Hurts single was shown for the first time on ITV1 last night, but in case you didn't manage to see it we've put it up for you here. We do have to warn you, some of the scenes in the video are quite distressing. The single is already flying off the shelves and being downloaded in the thousands, so we're keeping everything crossed that it reaches Number One this coming weekend. Have you bought it yet? Amazon or itunes

I don't think it matters how much we donate, as long as we do. It's not about the size of the donation it's the fact that we are helping.

i think the reason celebrities make these singles is to make young people have a way of giving money for the certain causes becoz they dont have credit cards or anything to donate with, so i disagree with most of you i think its a good way to get young people to donate coz think about it they probably wouldnt donate without it!

These stars are getting more popular while the fans ar getting more bank rupt after buying alot of cds.why cant these so called stingy stars donate money from their pocket and give it to charities instead making an album out of it?im really sick of this thing called ''celebrities singing for charity''.

I have donated-but I'm ashamed to say only a minimal amount, the students at the school I work at did a bake sale so I donated about £5 something through that. I won't be buying the single.

Exactly Wilts. It's always charities like this they pick, never small ones - which to me is a bit pointless, because surely it's these ones that need the recognition? I like a lot of the artists involved in the Haiti songs but I won't be buying the songs as I've donated money already and don't want to boost their egos and don't need something in return for my charitable donations. Nobody should.

I agree with Bella, celebs chose charities to raise their own profile too. How often do celebs chose charites that don't get alot of press attention? like the N.A.S, or Tommys? this is where KP did some good, for raising awareness for disabled children (tho if she didn't have Harvey I doubt she would even be aware of it's exsistance)

There are other charities. There are horrible problems everywhere. It makes me sad that there are trendy tragic events and that celebs need their egos stroking when this sort of this happens.

I think I read somewhere that Simon Cowell had already made a very large donation - £50K or so maybe? I don't know whether the performers have made a donation or not.
