Festival Season Has Finally Arrived! Whether you’re hanging out with the uber-cool Shoreditch crew at Lovebox or donning your fairy wings for Bestival, there’s one piece of information that you MUST know. The nice folk over at Gaymers Cider are hosting a very special “festival within a festival” event this year called Lost In The Orchard, where you’ll be able to escape from the craziness of the main festival and enjoy a cider while listening to something a bit different. They wisely recruited festival veteran (seriously, he’s been doing them for 13 years) Dave Berry to host the area and pick some brilliant new bands and acts to perform – and it all sounds like it’s going to be enormously brilliant. “It’s a magical place,” Dave told us. “Almost an Alice In Wonderland-type affair where you can relax and see something a little different.” Playing are The Rinky Dinks - a ukulele supergroup who claim they’re influenced by George Formby and The Clash - and Fake Bush, who is a comedienne and singer who performs – among others – Kate Bush hits. They will join a host of other, slightly weird, acts at The Big Chill, Bestival, Lovebox, Leeds and Latitude. As Dave Berry agrees, the best moments of a festival are often discovering something new and unexpected, and drinking loads of cider has to come a close second, right?
