If you were a big fan of cheeky guitar playing chappies Busted - then you'll probably be interested to hear what Matt Willis has been saying about a possible band reunion while on the This Morning sofa today. "Me and James kind of had the chat, " began Matt, before continuing, "a shall we get the band back together kind of chat – but I think it just didn’t feel right to do it. Charlie wouldn’t do it, so it’d be me and James and there’s questions like do we keep it the two of us? Would we get a brand new member in? Because we’d love to do it, don’t get me wrong, I loved that band…. So maybe? But right now, I couldn’t see myself being away from home eight months of the year. I don’t know if I’m quite ready to give my life back to that. Isabelle [Matt’s daughter] is fifteen months now….”
Matt also revealed that he's been writing some new songs for the band, should they ever get back together again, “The one thing that was good about having that chat was that it got me and James in a room with two acoustic guitars writing songs for another Busted record. Which we did; we wrote about six tracks which are the best we’ve ever written. And whether Busted happens or not, there will definitely be something between me and James happening.”
Are you excited about the potential Busted reunion. Or do you think that now the world has McFly that we don't need another poppy, guitar band? We'd love to know what you think..
