Saturday night saw Emmerdale actor James Thornton and funny-man Charlie Baker tap-danced their way to victory on Let’s Dance For Comic Relief.
The duo bagged the majority vote, beating the likes of Russell Kane and Noel Fielding – both of whom were favourites to win. Poor Russell looked more than a bit disappointed as the winner was announced as well – his sadness evident even through the make up and drag.
But a very happy James and Charlie punched the air as they were crowned champions – and the BBC have now revealed a staggering 7.1 million people tuned in to see it all happen. That’s a whole 29.8% of the audience share, don’t you know!
Seeing as we utterly loved Russell’s dance rendition of Beyonce’s Crazy In Love, here’s another chance to see him strut his stuff, perhaps for the last time ever - *sniff* - Along with as James and Charlie's winning performance too.
