It's like all your teen dreams have melted together and come true all at once (except the bit where you marry Mark Owen, that'll probably never happen now).
The newly formed supergroup NKOTBSB (or the New Kids and Backstreet Boys if you're a child of the 90s) have announced they're releasing an actual single and album. Of them all singing. As one.
The big band actually displayed their exciting new selves back in December at a New Year’s Party in New York, where they all sung and danced to a series of NKOTB and BSB hits like Backstreet’s Back, Hangin’ Tough and I Want It That Way together on Times Square and to a screaming audience.
And now they're doing it again - this time it’s all official and the word on the street is the album will be a joint Greatest Hits, featuring both bands' best work and several new songs. In fact the groups have been in the studio already getting together the brand new collection as well as ressurecting the old - and they’ve confirmed the very first single will be called Don't Turn Out The Lights.
To say we're happy is an understatement. We're fans of nostalgia. In fact, you should have seen us when Take That reunited. So what other amazing supergroups would you like to see reform? Take That and East 17 together? Boyzone featuring Westlife? Perhaps we could go all out and have TLC joining SWV? Or new-school with JLS teaming up with McFly? Tell us your valuable thoughts….
Expect this super-single around late Spring.
