Javine Hylton is reinventing herself as a burlesque star in a brand new theatre production called Burlexe. As well as singing and acting, Javine will be doing her best Dita Von Teese impression and will actually perform a burlesque routine.
The press release for the show tell is that Burlexe is based on stories of the incredible women who’ve created burlesque. It fuses performance with storytelling, dancing with acting. It’s about strong, powerful, amazing women. And it’s like nothing you’ve seen before…
