There's no doubt he's a man of musical power and it looks as though 50 Cent has actually put his foot down when it comes to his record company’s constant demands. The US rapper took to Twitter to speak out about his feelings towards Interscope, saying until they can work with him in a more effective manner, he will be postponing his album release indefinitely. Ooh!
The album, which is rumoured to be called Black Magic, was due out this summer but instead the rapper made his sad announcement on the social networking site saying, “Ok I tried to be cool with my record company. I went to the meeting talk to everyone and sh*t feels like there moving in slow motion [sic]. I'm sorry to announce I will not be releasing a new album this year if we don't get on the same page."
Sounds serious, eh? But it’s definitely not the first time 50 Cent has clashed with his record company. A few months back he was due to release the first single from said new album but ended up not even releasing that because he was ‘waiting for the record company to get on board’. "I think it's better to just go with the entire building, have everybody on deck so they understand my plans for this project," he told MTV News at the time. "I worked really hard on this album I'm not gonna let it come out like some bulls***."
And though three whole months have passed since then, it appears Interscope are still not happy with Fifty's musical offering and will not be budging just yet. Oh dear!
