Last night was a very special night in the music/charity calendar, as some of the hottest music acts got together with Alicia Keys for her annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball at the Camden Roundhouse in London.
Brit Award-winner Tinie Tempah, Mark Ronson, Jay Sean, Chipmunk and others joined Alicia at the super-suave event in aid of Keep A Child Alive Foundation and appeared to be having a brilliant time - especially when the handsome Tinie (who was suited and booted for the event) was called up on stage to sing with Alicia.
The pair sang Written In The Stars together - one of Tinie's biggest hits - and it was a special moment for the talented - and very humble - rapper who revealed he'd written the track originally with Alicia in mind. Now he was singing it with her on stage. How special!
The performance went down very well - and ended in everyone asking Tinie when his next album would be ready. He explained, "By September, October you should hear something". Ooh, we can't wait. Disc-Overy will be very hard to top, but we know he'll do it!
Places at the ball were very exclusive with individual tickets coming up at £1,500 and a mighty £20,000 for whole tables. Alicia was joined on stage by Mark Ronson as her co-host and other special guests included Paloma Faith and Beth Ditto. George Michael was due to perform too but had to pull out because of a tooth infection. Poor George!
