We can’t wait to hear the sultry voice of former X Factor contestant Rebecca Ferguson on her soon to be released debut album! The very pretty songstress has confessed that she even helped to pen all of the songs, aided by a co-writer and the heart-ache she endured from past relationships (yes – that includes her brief tryst with One Direction star Zayn Malik – yum). Rebecca told the Daily Star,
"I wrote a lot of tracks about what was happening to me at the time I was making the album, and that includes things with Zayn…A lot of the songs are about past relationships. The theme is relationships in general, making them, breaking them, love and loss…Recording was hard. It wasn't a case of skipping to the studio and being happy.”
The former X Factor star who came second place to winner Matt Cardle last year, dated fellow contestant Zayn for a few months. Although their relationship seemed only brief, the singer says that she poured all of her previous heartache into the album,
"I got really emotional and sometimes I had really bad days. I poured out all my heart and soul into the album and would often cry…At the beginning they didn't know I could write so they were bringing songs in for me but I put my foot down…Now I've co-written every single song on the album."
The singer recently revealed that her single Nothing’s Real But Love will be released on November 27th, which will be followed by her debut album Heaven on December 5th.Well, it sounds like it’ll be an emotional listen!
