Susan Boyle earned her place in the record books, not for causing Simon Cowell to admit that he was wrong. Record breaking Susan has made UK music history again by becoming the first female artist ever to have three successive albums debut at No.1 in the UK album chart in less than two years.

No other female solo singer in the 65 year history of the Official UK charts has achieved this in the first week of the albums being released. The lady from Blackburn has done well.

Simon Cowell has quoted "I'm absolutely delighted for Susan. She's a total superstar and I'm incredibly proud of her."

    Well done SuBo, respected in the industry or not she is making a load of money and has cracked the States, something very few British acts manage, they love her over there. People can be so nasty, she has a lovely voice, even if its not my kind of music and to make it at her age is impressive!

    She's hard;y brought herself out of obscurity, a TV show and massive marketing machine brought her out of obscurity. And she has completely conformed, they set about making her over and churning out albums full of covers of other peoples songs. She may have sold lots of albums, but I reckon she isn't respected in the industry

    She's great and no matter what you think of her she's done really well to bring herself from obscurity this little known shy Scottish woman to where she is now.
