Well you've already heard the single on The X Factor (unless, er, you weren't watching - which is frankly unlike you lot) and now it's time to watch the video. That’s right, today Rebecca Ferguson unleashed her first ever official video to brand new single Nothing's Real About Love upon the world - and here it is, in all it's black and white glory.
The video itself shows Rebecca (not that surprising) handling what looks like a rather hot frothy cup of hot chocolate (slightly more surprising), while contemplating the world going by from her seat at the top of a very tall building (where she just happens to be hanging out).
Yes, it’s not all legs and men like Kelly Rowland’s video – but we love the way Rebecca is keeping herself so understated. And there’s no denying that voice is amazing. In fact, when we popped round to have a cuppa and a scone with her last week – we were totally mesmerised by how lovely she was. Understated, vocally amazing and lovely – it’s not very often you get an artist that great, you know.
We’ve also had the pleasure of hearing some of Rebecca’s other tracks from her debut album, Heaven, which is due for release on 5 December – and we thought we’d share some of the highlights with you.
For a start, our favourite songs were the stunning Teach Me How To Be Loved (trust us, you’ll forget where you are listening to that tune) and the catchy Diamond To A Stone. Mr Bright Eyes is just a whole world of fun and class - we love it. This record is good for a contemplative girlie time – that’s for sure.
So tell us heatworlders, do you think Rebecca’s voice can help her shake The X Factor tag and be a huge success? Do share…
