Diana Vickers may have been away from music for a while, but she’s back with a banger.
The new song Music To Make The Boys Cry was produced by Norwegian outfit Donkeyboy (LOL. You could say she 'did it with Donkeyboy') and is a cutesy 80s-style slice of pop with loads of sparkly bits during the chorus which make us feel all warm inside.
The X Factor alumnus was dropped from label RCA earlier this year due to what she said were differences on a “creative level”. But she’d still spent six months recording her second album in LA.
She said at the time on her Tumblr (soooo hipster!) that she was “Counting down the minutes until it's all ready and you guys can finally hear it.” So she must be positively wetting herself sitting on the edge of her seat and jumping up and down excited for us to hear this new track.
