Boyband JLS have revealed that, following a bizarre run in with him at an airport, they’d like to collaborate with singer Ed Sherran in the near future.
Speaking to MTV, JLS member Oritse Williams explained, “We bumped into him at an airport and he came up to us and said, 'How's it going, what's going to be happening in the New Year?'
“We said that we would love to get into the studio and write some new tracks because we love his album and his music - he writes quality songs. We think the collaboration would be pretty magical. So when we get an opportunity we will definitely be trying to put that together.”
The band are currently working on their fourth studio album, and have promised something new this time round, he revealed, “With this album, we are steering it in a slightly different direction that we can't really talk about, but it will still obviously have the JLS stamp.
“We are very excited, we have been working with some really exciting producers and writers on this album, some from the old school, some from the new school.
“I've been wanting to say this for a long time, but we're working with Babyface, Bangladesh and Sean Garrett.”
A new direction Ortise? That sounds interesting… what sound would you like JLS to experiment with? Swing perhaps? Or something rockier? Leave us your thoughts below…
JLS are fronting this years Sports Relief single, Proud, which will be released March 18th.
