Competing with Rihanna for the title of busiest bee in R&B, Beyonce’s announced that she is to start work on her new album.
The Love On Top singer has only just given birth to Blue Ivy, but songwriter Ryan Tether has just revealed that he’s working on new music for Beyonce.
This will be the former Destiny’s Child star’s fifth studio album, and her second in two years. Her last release, 2011’s 4, was made up of stripped-down numbers which gave a nod towards old school genres like soul and new-jack swing. So maybe this album will be a bit more modern and dancey? Who knows...?
What we can definitely expect, though, is for Beyonce’s new songs to be influenced by the birth of baby Blue. If macho rapper Jay Z could put the sound of their baby’s gurgles in his track Glory, then there’s no guessing how much she’ll be referenced in Beyonce’s upcoming music!
