The troublesome twins haven’t (yet) been picked as Ireland’s Eurovision entry but they’ve still made a song for the competition.
Waterline is a pop rock song not too dissimilar from Busted’s stuff (and McFly’s earlier tracks). Mysteriously, the twins had earlier tweeted that their entry for the Eurovision contest would be called What’s Your Number: “Our Eurovision song is called 'Whats Your Number? [sic]” Its a really fun song” but it seems they’ve gone for this one instead.
We wonder if the Irish powers that be will put the Grimes twins forward with this track? Ironically, it’s the best thing we’ve heard from Jedward, but they did perform Lipstick for Ireland last year we’ve never heard of any act being able to perform at the contest two years running…Fingers crossed, boys!
