He’s the man who taught us how to ‘pop ya collar’ on the dance floor, and for that we will be eternally grateful. So now rejoice Usher fans, as he’s back with what he calls ‘revolutionary pop’.
Last week we were invited to a swanky club to hear some of his new tracks ahead of his album release in May. You’ll be glad to hear, the R&B star still can’t wait to get the ladies home, and wants us all to know exactly what they’re going to get up to. He’s one helluva smooth operator. And he even turned up in person at the end, rocking a verycool pair of Tinie Tempah-style specs.
The first single from his as-yet-untitled album, Climax, (out on April 8) has been produced by Diplo, and there’s set to be plenty more collaborations. He’s already spoken about wanting to team up with Adele, and over the weekend Labrinth tweeted a picture of him and the R&B superstar chillin’ in the studio together, saying, ‘something gigantic is on its way!’. Excited.
As well as finding the time to be a jet-set millionaire musician, he's also signed on to play boxer Sugar Ray Leonard in an upcoming movie about his life.
