We might take the mick a bit, but the fact is we do have a lot of love for Olly Murs and his musical compadres Rizzle Kicks. So we couldn’t help be a bit disappointed when we found out the Essex-born singer has hard to ditch his two pals for his US debut of My Heart Skips A Beat. We know, it’s really sad.
Instead of featuring trusty Harley and Jordan on the track, Olly has opted for Philadelphia group, Chiddy Bang for the track – so he can raise his appeal towards his new American audiences. The news comes just as Olly prepares to make his North American debut by supporting those rather popular boys One Direction on tour in the States. In fact, we hear he's just landed in New York.
Speaking about his excitement about the whole thing Olly recently said, “Hopefully I can convert them [One Direction fans] into the Murs army and the Ollyettes so if they can be converted, that will be great.
"There's always room for everyone, but for me, America is just a good challenge and fingers crossed the song does well and if it does, it will be amazing!"

After we got over the initial shock that Rizzle Kicks weren’t being catapulted into the American spotlight along with Mr M, we did have a listen to the Chiddy Bang (there they are above) version of the single (here it is below) – and actually… *whispers in case Rizzle Kicks hear* we think we like it. Whoops.
So just because we love a good old public debate, we’re going to throw this one to the floor heatworlders. We want to know exactly what you lot what you think of this 'new' version of My Heart Skips A Beat.
Is it any better? Are you too fiercely loyal to Harley and Jordan to listen to it? Perhaps you couldn’t give a monkey either way? Feel free to share your views – whatever they are – below. Oh and we've thrown the original video in below for good measure too.
