We’ve waited for what seems like an eternity (but in fact, it’s only been three years) to hear about this reunion, but Cheryl Cole has told Capital FM that there will be Girls Aloud news “very soon”. Yay!
The singer, who also released her brand new video Call My Name earlier today too, confirmed that the GA girls have been in deep in discussions about planning and it will all happen in time for their tenth anniversary which takes place in November.
Chezza explained, “We had lots of conversations and we drank lots of cups of tea and we all said we want to do something for our tenth birthday.”
She then went on to say fans will be able to find out the full details “very soon”.
Now, we don’t know about you – but this is the best news we’ve heard in ages. We couldn’t think of anything better than to end the year with a few new GA tracks –and perhaps even better, a live performance of Call The Shots or Biology. Can you imagine?
Thankfully in the meantime, we have a Cheryl album to look forward too. After Call My Name gets its UK release on 10 June, the star’s third album, A Million Lights, will follow the week after on 18 June. Just in time for all the summer BBQs, we notice. Good thinking Chez.
To say we’re excited about all of the above is a poptastic understatement. We’re ready for it…
