heat's editor Lucie Cave recently had the lovely task of interviewing that Take That fella Gary Barlow for heat radio. Gary's been working hard on his new single, Sing, for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, and was keen to tell Lucie all about it. The interview was on heat radio this morning during Dan Black's breakfast show, and will be on again at 6pm this evening. But in case you missed it this morning, or just can't wait 'til 6pm, here it is for your listening pleasure:
The X Factor star worked with The Military Wives and Andrew Lloyd Webber to get this almighty track done in time for the Queen's big do at the beginning of June.
During the interview, Gary told Lucie how he ended up working with Sir Andrew on the song, and how he convinced Prince Harry to play the tambourine - he's very good apparently...
If you fancy hearing more from our Lucie, tune into heat radio at 10am every Saturday morning for her heatworld show. You can listen to heat radio here on heatworld, on Freeview 714, on DAB across the UK and on the heat radio app.
