Katy Perry has most definitely left her candy cane days behind her.
In her video for new single Wide Awake, Katy dons a scary cloak and wanders through a world filled with spooky mirrors, crumbling floors and shirt-wearing minotaurs.
Pretty creepy, right?
"This song in particular is a dose of reality. It's kind of like coming down from a high," Katy told MTV News. "You've been on cloud nine for so long, and it can't always be so sweet and sometimes you need to realise that, and you have to pick yourself up and move forward and face the facts of life and know that this is just a lesson you learn and you're stronger because of it."
If you're old enough to remember the film Labyrinth, this video might just bring back some terrifying memories - good luck with that.
