Music Buzz – Cheryl’s Best Week Ever?

It’s release week for the highly anticipated return of Just Cheryl and so far so good. As of today Call My Name has sold almost 80,000 copies in the UK. Following twelve months of drama, this is the week that the Geordie princess can prove she’s more than capable of reigning at the top of the charts without the help of Simon Cowell and The X Factor. A little bit of flirting with Katy Perry on The Graham Norton Show, another stage-stomping performance and the announcement of her first ever headline arena tour this is turning into an almighty seven days. Topping it all are the rumours that Cheryl and Girls Aloud buddy Nadine Coyle even enjoyed a drink together at the weekend. All the pieces are falling into place. will.i.am will be pleased.

Sometimes videos and songs match up perfectly and this is one of those times. Chris Brown’s latest visual sees the main man experiencing various romantic chases in a Matrix-style future (obviously alongside a pretty hot model). High budget, slick and with trademark Chris Brown dance moves made even better with no blatant product placement.

One To Watch - Madeon

His real name his Hugo and he’s French. Obviously being called Madeon makes him instantly cooler. He’s only 18-years-old and is set to be the next big thing in the world of dance music, with tunes big enough to rival Calvin Harris and Example. His debut single is called Finale and comes out 22 July. But in the meantime check out this awesome viral video he’s made, mixing up some of his favourite pop tunes. Increds.
