Following in the footsteps of One Direction, Cher Lloyd is finding fame – and chart success – in the US.
Cher’s brand new single, Want You Back, has reached Number Seven in the US iTunes chart. Go, Cher!
The former X Factor contestant has been spending a lot of time in the States and it seems her hard work has paid off as the single is continuing to climb up the charts,
“I'm so excited by everything that is going on! I've been touring US radio stations for quite a while now, and it's been fantastic to get out and see so much of America,” says the pint-sized singer.
Want You Back only got to Number 25 in the UK singles chart – but it looks like she’s cracked it across the pond.
Cher rocked Wireless
Cher hasn’t spent all her time in America. She made a quick trip to London last weekend to perform at Wireless festival in Hyde Park.
Sporting a funky, cropped hairstyle and some notorious Cher attitude – she rocked Wireless in front of a big crowd and tweeted about how happy she was to be back performing in the UK.
Proving that she’s a busy girl, Cher will soon head back to America for her first TV appearance. She’ll be performing on America’s Got Talent later this month.
