Jessie J has put back her up-coming arena tour until later on next year. The Voice judge had sold out the 2013 tour dates but it now looks like her fans will have to wait around nine months to see the singer in concert.
The 24-year-old has moved her 17 date UK tour back from February to October so she can concentrate on her second album. Revealing the news on Twitter earlier today, Jessie expressed her regret but added that she hoped her fans would understand why she made the decision.
“I am honestly truly sorry but I hope you all can understand that it's just because I would like to take more time to finish my new album.”
“I promise to make this tour my biggest and best ever and cannot wait for you all to hear my new songs.”
“All tickets for the #NiceToMeetYouTour2013 will still be valid but for the new dates please go to [JessieJOfficial.com].”
The Price Tag singer’s fans will no doubt be gutted as this was the Londoner’s first UK arena tour.
However, looking at Jessie’s packed schedule, it was looking a tad peaky, given her hectic workload.
The concerts were due to start on 27 February in Nottingham will now kick off on 15 October in Belfast.
Well it’s not too long, really. Hopefully summer 2013 will just fly by…
