Lady Gaga has taken to Twitter to announce that she is going to be recording new album with Jazz legend, Tony Bennett, 86.
She posted a picture and tweeted: “And here’s me and my handsome date, I simply cannot wait for album together, he’s my darling.”
Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett both celebrated the inauguration of Barack Obama earlier this week, when they performed at the White House Staff Ball.
However, there is no release date for the album yet, and we expect Gaga is still pretty busy with her fourth studio album ARTPOP, which is set to be released later on this year.
However, producer Zedd has admitted that putting the album together is not going quite as smoothly as expected, thanks to her ridiculous schedule.
He told MTV: “We’ve been working on it for over a year now. There’s still a lot of work left, so we’re definitely gonna work on this project for the next month.”
“The problem with her is obviously that I’m busy and I tour a lot, but she’s probably a lot busier than I am, so its hard to find time to work on something together.”
Considering Gaga is having little time to finish her own album due to her extremely hectic timetable, it looks like it may be a while before we get to hear the new Jazz album.
Hopefully Gaga and Tony will be able to get into the studio properly once she’s completed her own new album!
