heatworld nearly fell of its swivel chair this morning. There we were "poking" some cute boy we'd seen on Facebook when we glanced across the office and who should we see but Joe Stone, from off of Shipwrecked, sifting through the post! On further investigation (which basically involved heatworld screaming out loud, running across the office and shouting "Omigod" repeatedly for about an hour), it transpires that Joe is at heat Towers doing work experience while he waits to start the second year of his journalism degree at Bournemouth University. So far we have learned that he went on a pilgrimage to Dollywood after leaving Shark Island, felt like he never really settled into island life and wants to learn all about journalism by spending some time at heat. He will be waiting for a long time for that last bit…
Anyway, Joe has kindly agreed (at gun point... oh OK, so it was a croissant, but that doesn't sound very threatening) to keep a video diary on heatworld.com during his week-long stay with us. Come back and see what he makes of us tomorrow…
