Sharon Osbourne went on the Paul O'Grady Show yesterday and claimed that since "quitting" last week, ITV bosses haven't called her. She said, " I don't even know if ITV want me back. I want to go back to take care of my girls, but I haven't heard from anyone." But a source at ITV retorted, "Frankly, everyone is a bit surprised that the first time we hear from her is on a TV show. She's the one that walked out – surely she should be contacting us.” And a spokesperson from X Factor added, "To date we, her employers, have not received any calls direct from Sharon to discuss whether she is returning to the show. Like any other family, we have our ups and downs and we look forward to welcoming her back on Saturday. We are sure her acts will be delighted to have their mentor back." Oh lorks, this is just like being back in the playground at school...
