Felicity Huffman is at the centre of a bold new storyline in the new series of Desperate Housewives. As you can see from this shot, Huffman's character Lynette will lose all her hair when she suffers the after-effects of chemotherapy treatment for cancer. In the early episodes of season four, currently running in the US and coming to Channel 4 in the new year, we'll see Lynette coming to terms with her illness, which she has until now tried to hide from friends and family. And, in a typical moment of wry humour for which the show has rightly been acclaimed, there's a scene in which Bree visits the chemo unit where Lynette is being treated only to have one of the patients ask her where she got her wonderful red wig...
