Here's a lovely sight: the stars of Ugly Betty coming out in support of the current American TV and movie writers' strike. Yes, the actors manned the picket line to show how down they are with their colleagues – even little Justin there in the middle (actor Mark Indelicato). The strike, which started last Monday, has halted production of all scripted American shows, like Ug Bet, Despo Wives, 24 and so on. Obviously this is a bit annoying because they'll soon run out of new episodes of Ugly Betty to show on Channel 4 if the strike carries on much longer. But we have to say the writers do deserve to get a little bit of money from the gazilions of DVD, online and iPod sales of their shows. After all, they come up with the important stuff!
