Jade Goody’s boyfriend Jack Tweed appeared in court today over charges of actual bodily harm. Twenty-year-old Jack and a 28-year-old man, James Mattock, are accused of using a golf club to attack a 16-year-old boy in the car park of an Essex primary school in December 2006. Jack was originally meant to answer the charges back in November, but didn’t turn up and instead spent the day riding camels with Jade on holiday. An arrest warrant was then issued, and the full case will be heard next month. Jade dropped Jack off at Chelmsford Crown Court earlier today, but during his brief appearance in the dock, Jack only spoke to confirm his name and his “not guilty” plea – which is about three words more than he uttered in the Celebrity Big Brother house, so that’s actually pretty good going.
